Normally the DBC meets every first Tuesday of the month for lunch or drinks. Interesting speakers are always present. During the past ‘Corona year’, the DBC has also tried to continue to organize activities as much as possible within the applicable restrictions. Especially in times of crisis, it is important that our club remains the sounding board for the Dutch business community in Spain.
In recent months, we have therefore combined lunch with an online presentation. As a result, members who were unable to participate in person, were given the opportunity to listen to the various guest speakers. Themes such as the EU support funds, developments in the biopharmaceutical field, the results of the Dutch elections, and the impact of the corona pandemic on the macroeconomic outlook were reviewed in this way last year. As soon as circumstances permit, the usual DBC lunch will be fully restored.
