Roland built an international career leading industrial companies across Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa. After more than 20 years as CEO and board member, he now focuses on the part of leadership he always enjoyed most: helping other leaders grow and make better decisions. As a Vistage Chair based in Madrid, he facilitates peer groups of CEOs and business owners who challenge and support each other in a trusted environment. Through his firm Striance, he advises boards and executive teams worldwide on governance, capital allocation and creating purpose-led, performance-driven cultures.
Outside of work, he enjoys many of the wonderful things Spain has to offer, such as walking in nature, skiing, scuba diving and, of course, a good meal followed by a long sobremesa with conversations that spark new ideas.
