Every time we begin a new year, we tend to ask ourselves about the challenges, opportunities or issues we will have to face in the coming months. In a context in which uncertainty continues to be the norm, EY Insights is launching Spain 2026. A year ahead, a publication in which we reflect on what lies ahead this year and offer solutions to help us navigate the near future successfully.
For the fifth year in a row, we have produced a collective analysis that will help us understand what the coming year has in store and share useful ideas among companies, public administrations and leading experts. This is a collaborative exercise that provides us with information, key insights and tools to operate successfully in an economic and business environment that is expected to be complex.
Once again, we have produced a publication that includes three main chapters. Firstly, there is an initial section focused on the economic and business environment, prepared by economists and leading institutional figures such as Luis de Guindos, Vice-President of the European Central Bank, Enrico Letta, Dean of the IE School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs at IE University and former Prime Minister of Italy, and Israel Arroyo, Secretary of State for the Economy and Business Support, among others. In the second chapter, together with leading EY partners, we focus on the major short‑term trends affecting Spanish companies. We also include a third section centred on the challenges and key issues facing companies from a regional perspective, based on the insights of EY leaders in the Autonomous Communities.
We hope that this reflection is of interest to you and, above all, that it proves useful in facing the new year.
