DBC Lunch 5th of October

In April, at the latest London Wine Competition, Bodegas HABLA was named the world’s best winemaker of the year. The Bodega from Trujillo won a total of 8 gold medals, proving that in terms of winemaking Extremadura is also “tierra de conquistadores”.

In the year 2000, barely 20 years ago, Juan Tirado from Caceres started his Bodegas HABLA project. On a total of 200 hectares of acidic slate soil, with low humidity, the grapes grow under often extreme conditions. The yield of the vines is low, but of a very high quality. And under the premise of quality over quantity, Bodegas HABLA has managed to successfully market several unique wines.

At our DBC lunch on October 5th, we will get to know more about “EL CASO HABLA”. For the occasion we have invited Paul Kerstens. Paul gained more than 20 years of export experience at renowned bodegas, such as Gonzalez Byass, Barbadillo, Casalbor and Vinos Iberia. At the beginning of this year, he was appointed International Sales Director of Bodegas HABLA.
