I am an entrepreneur in smart parking and founder of Parkingware, a company specializing in intelligent parking systems and access management based on license plate recognition, reservations, and online payments. Our technology operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, serving leisure parks, office buildings, and airport parking facilities.
Between 1998 and 2002, my wife Lilian and I lived and worked in Spain, where we set up a branch of Bollegraaf Recycling Machinery. In 2024, we made the deliberate decision to return to Spain, this time with our four children (aged 15 to 24). Life here suits us better, and we also see great potential for innovation in mobility and access management.
From the Madrid region, we are building Parkingware.es and we welcome collaboration with entrepreneurs, property owners, investors, and consultants who see opportunities in technology, parking, area development, or smart energy solutions. Through the Dutch Business Club, I hope to exchange ideas, share expertise, and build new connections.
