The whole of Spain was in uproar when, in 2023, the Spanish construction company Ferrovial moved its head office to Amsterdam. The press and politicians spoke of ingratitude from a company that had carried out hundreds of civil works projects in Spain and were convinced that Ferrovial was going to the Netherlands to pay less tax. Now that the dust has settled, it is time to hear from insiders about the reasons behind the move and whether the strategy they devised has delivered the desired outcome.
During the lunch on Tuesday 3 March, Geerte Hesen and Claudio Bonet from Ferrovial will share the story behind the decision. A little teaser: the Netherlands turns out to be the best springboard to the US stock market.
An interesting story about doing business internationally and national sentiment. We are expecting a high turnout for this lunch on 3 March at our new venue, the restaurant Azotea Cibeles, so make sure you register in good time.
